Slope Description:
The Campsies slope is a big one! Loads of lift in just about any southerly wind. Fly out from the slope to get super smooth lift.

Fly from any suitable spot up the hill from the car park. There are a a number of suitable spots, just survey the front edge and the landing zone before launching as there are some large rocks about. The normal flying spot is a good bit up the hill where there is a small palteau and some dips that the sheep gather in.

Slope Information:
The field you fly and land from is used for grazing sheep. Please use caution if the sheep are in the field and keep dogs on a lead if they are. The sheep are usually not interested and will head away when you arrive. This is a popular hill with walkers be prepared for them to sneak up or be in the landing zone when you want to land!

To access the slope;
Park in the Campsie Glen car park indicated on the map. This is on the Crow Road(B822) and about a mile or so out of Lennoxtown. Cross the road and head up the hill to find a suitable spot. Depending on conditions and the model you want to fly you might not need to go far. If other flyers are on the hill then join them.
